The world that we live in today has become very Cyber oriented. For example, there are data privacy laws that are coming out from each state. There is a lot of intelligence that is gathered, but there is no easy way to share that with all of the law enforcement agencies, and the private sector.
There is no set of best practices and guidelines for all of the new frameworks. There is no commonality in disseminating and sharing vulnerabilities which are found in the products of Cyber vendors. Worst yet, there is no system in place that is quick to bring Cyberattackers to justice.
In other words, what is needed is central point for all of this, which is the proposed United States Department of Homeland Security. We plan to create a whitepaper which will detail the compelling reasons why we need one, and the functions that it will serve.
This will be coming in 2024. Stay tuned!
